Set of Rules
|
1. Requested Conditions to be a Member
- to be an organisation who registers information about animals and owners
-
to be able to track the microchip implanter data (name, address, phone, …)
- to
accept all ISO microchips
brands sold in the country
- to promote only ISO microchips
- to be able
to make tracking of microchips in the country
- to send updated data to Europetnet
at least once a month
2. Desirable Conditions to be a Member
- to be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- to collaborate with microchips
and microchips readers manufacturers/distributors
- to be accepted by official
organisations
- to record at least 2.000 microchips each year
- to only
accept microchips implanted by a veterinarian or by a trained implanter according
to national regulation
- to collaborate and exchange information with databanks
of the country
- to use a system that has the capability to trace who has microchiped
every single animal
- to send updated data to Europetnet at least twice a month

To make every effort to transfer computerized data to another Europetnet member
in case of bankruptcy.
